As the adoption of Smart Home technology moved from the Early Adopters to the Mainstream, the market flooded with products and connected categories emerged. Educating shoppers was a key part of the growth of this segment at retail. As Smart Home exploded, education was not enough. Savvy shoppers were seeking more immersive experiences, the store was the place to go to test and compare. And with it, retail adapted.

The Home Depot (THD) was our entry-point into this emerging category, and our job to be done was to educate the shopper and position THD as the go-to retailer for all-things connected. This ‘test-and-learn’ solution allowed shoppers to find rich, detailed staging of The Home Depot smart home solutions, rooted in approachable innovation.
